The movie Shor In The City is a Story about three different set of people and there life's during the 9 day Ganesh puja in the city of Mumbai and how there life's get intertwined.
Sendhil ramammurthy returns from america to mumbai to start up a small business, facing trouble from local goons. Sudeep kishan is a aspiring under 22 cricketer, who has to achieve success soon if he wants to marry his girl friend. Tushaar kapoor, pitabash and nikhil dwivedi own a small pirated books print house and one day stumble upon bag containing a bag full of guns and a bomb.
The screenplay of the film is very taut and keeps you engaged throughout. It has a dark comedy running throughout and the city of Mumbai completely incorporated in it. The Background score is apt and the song Saiboo is intoxicating.
Pitabash is the crackpot of the film, he just steals the show with his comedy timing. Some of his funny lines are- "ye bank hijack ho chukka hain", " Do you think we are NOT fools". The scene in the toilet and the scene where they play with bomb were ultimate. Tushaar kapoor gives a fine performance and slowly truns philosophical as the  movie progresses. Sudeep kishan as a young star with difficulties in both professional front and personal front give a normal performance( He was great as antagonist in telugu movie Prasthanam).
The movie does have it's dull moments, it gets slower post interval, but that aside it is an awesome movie that can sure bring a smile on your face and you can walk out of the theaters happily. I liked the director duo's previous film 99 and now with this film became admirer of them. More such kind of cinema is needed.
